When I try to upload pictures for my profile, the site won't accept them. They're of me in my work clothes, centered around my face. The only issues I can see is that the picture needs to be rotated, and that I'm wearing prescription glasses.
If the photo was taken using a mobile phone, it usually uploads sideways because of the metatags attached to the image. On this thread, Petra has shared tips on how to remove the metatags from an image.
Your profile photo must be a clear, headshot-style photo. Sunglasses, other individuals, logos, or photos of anything other than your face are not allowed. Prescription glasses are okay. I would recommend that you read up on this blog post to know how you can take the perfect profile photo.
