If you are referring to a fixed-price contract, after the approval of the milestone it goes straight to pending tab and there is a 5 days security period (you'll find a date next to the transaction) and then it moves to available.

When your client releases a milestone or final payment on a fixed-price job, it immediately shows as pending on your financial account. They become available after the standard five-day security period. You may check it by going to your Overview page. Thanks!
