Tipping question

Hi. I am a new client.  I have entered into an agreement with a freelancer for a set amount.  My intention is to put the entire amount into escrow now and release it when the job is finished, or in increments if he wants/needs but I don't expect it to be a very long job.  If I am extremely happy with the work and want to give a bonus, is it easy to do at the time of payment - to add extra money to the escrow account before releasing?

Hi Tammy, click the Give Bonus button at the close of the project. I have had bonuses range from $20 to $1,000. The Freelancers do appreciate them or at least I do. Have a great day!

No you can't change the amount once the amount is in escrow. If you are happy with the work and want to give a bonus you can add it by clicking on "give a bonus": https://support.upwork.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000980407-Pay-a-Bonus
