Topic "Flags / Banners / or Whatever the heck they're called"

So in the topics view, some of the topics have little icon flags, or banners, or whatever the heck they're called.

I'm curious at to what they mean because I've been unsuccessful in finding out so far, though I'm sure it's here somewhere. Not knowing what to call them is a hindrance!

For two of the ones I've seen so far my "best guess" seems to make sense -- pinned post and marked as solved.

For the other two they seem, well, opposite what I expected them to be -- image or link.

Could someone point me to where these are described? :0)
