Transferring a client from a social media platform

Hi,
I found a client from US on a social media platform who interviewed me and hired me for a one-time job. But I want this opportunity to help my longterm freelance career, which starts with working on upwork. As well as have the upwork's security of payments.
So I want to create a gig related to this job that he could probably buy here on upwork. But I can't find a way to do so here. What should I do?
1. Should I ask him to post a job on upwork? But there's a chance he'd get proposals that could attract him more than mine, and I'd lose a gig that I already got interviewed for and hired.

2. Is there a way to post a "gig" like other platforms and ask him to buy it by sending him a link?

Does any of the above go against the upwork's terms of service?

Hi Muhammad,

You can share your profile with your client and they can click on the green Hire button. If they are not signed up, they will be directed to creating their account and then sending an offer to you.
