Hi, I found a client from US on a social media platform who interviewed me and hired me for a one-time job. But I want this opportunity to help my longterm freelance career, which starts with working on upwork. As well as have the upwork's security of payments. So I want to create a gig related to this job that he could probably buy here on upwork. But I can't find a way to do so here. What should I do? 1. Should I ask him to post a job on upwork? But there's a chance he'd get proposals that could attract him more than mine, and I'd lose a gig that I already got interviewed for and hired.
2. Is there a way to post a "gig" like other platforms and ask him to buy it by sending him a link?
Does any of the above go against the upwork's terms of service?
