Unable to add PayPal as a payment method

I'm unable to add PayPal as a payment method - do I need to do anything special? Credit card is the only payment method available.

Hello Tomasz,

 

I'm sorry to hear that. It's because the country of your company address is one of the restricted countries for setting up a PayPal account as a billing method imposed by Upwork. Thank you.

I'm sorry for the confusion, Tomasz. You will need a verified Paypal account to be able to add it as a billing method. You may read more info on Verified PayPal accounts here

Besides, how can Upwork know if my PayPal account is verified or not if it's even not possible to select PayPal as a payment method?

Unfortunately I don't see your ticket as the link redirects me to:

Also if I go directly to https://support.upwork.com/hc/en-us - it redirects me to the above link, which shows my jobs, not the tickets.

 

Even though I'm signed in to Upwork.

As I've mentioned in my previous message, https://support.upwork.com/hc/en-us redirects me to https://www.upwork.com/ab/jobs-home/3195428?email=&external_id=&kind=error&message=Invalid%20data%20... even if I'm logged in to Upwork.

 

For this reason, I'm not able to access your ticket.

I've just tried using a browser where I've never used Upwork, but unfortunately it still redirects me from https://support.upwork.com/hc/en-us to https://www.upwork.com/ab/jobs-home/3195428?email=&external_id=&kind=error&message=Invalid%20data%20....

You should also have an email from your ticket, please check your junk and spam folder as well. You can respond back to the ticket directly for your email.

Unfortunately I don't see any other messages from upwork, except notifications for this thread and work-related emails.

 

Do you have a message ID for the "ticket email" which I've never received? Our mail admin could check if we ever received it.

As I've mentioned in the previous message -- I'm receiving Upwork notifications for this thread and for Upwork jobs. So no, Upwork mail is not blocked.

 

If you could get a message ID for the "ticket email", I can get my email provider to check if we received it.

As I've mentioned before - I'm not able to read any messages in https://support.upwork.com/hc/en-us/requests, as it gets me redirected to "My jobs" with https://www.upwork.com/ab/jobs-home/3195428?email=&external_id=&kind=error&message=Invalid%20data%20.... as the URL.

 

Something's broken with my Upwork account, and nobody from your team seems to care.
