Unable to change my name.

When I created this account a few years ago, I did so through Google. And for some reason it auto-filled this name. I pretty much didn't use this account (for unrelated reasons) but now I'm trying to use it.

But the name is wrong, so I tried to change it. When I did, it said I should wait 48 hours. But after 48 hours nothing happened. So I tried again. It didn't work. I talked to the support chat bot, and it said I should get an email in the next 48 hours, but again that didn't happen. Why is this happening? And how do I solve this?
