I didn't receive a text message verification code

I pushed the verify phone number button and have yet to receive my verication code. Will someone from the admin team please contact me.

I put in wrong phone number and cannot get verification code. Profile will not allow me to change phone number in order to move forward with verification. What do I do?

Hi, I am trying to change my phone number, and it is not possible just by going to settings. It got locked in a +1 number, and I need to update it with the one I am using currently (a +55). Please help.

Your profile is set to USA, your phone number is Brazil, your timezone the same as mine (Italy)

Hi there. I up new to Upwork and just put up a profile. When it says that the next step is to send me a text message for security it is not working. My phone works fine and I always get text messages. I have checked and rechecked the number and pressed the button multiple times for 2 days. Is there anything I can do to get that number texted to me?

I am having sort of the same issue. I am attempting to create my profile and i get to the point where i enter in my phone number to verify it. It defaults to some strange number I am unfamiliar with. I enter in the correct number and I even attempted my husband's phone number but both give me an error message:  You failed to verify this phone number. Please provide a different number.  I have never attempted to register either number before.

Could it have something to do with you trying to verify a US phone number from outside the US maybe?

I'm also not able to enter my phone number and verify. I'm on Windows 10 and tried all my browsers (Firefox, Chrome, Edge), with and without plugins/extensions active. I continue to click on "Verify Phone Number" and nothing happens, including two different numbers.
