Hello everyone,

I am quite concerned about the billing method. I have a PayPal account, but unfortunately, it is unverified because I don't have access to create a debit or credit card. (Not possible in my country) 

So my question is, can I still use my unverified account to receive payments from clients?

Yes, you should be able to add your PayPal account as a payment method. Check out this help article for more info.

But when I add my PayPal accout to billing method, they directly ask me for my credit or debit card.

Hi Rousl,

It's not necessary to connect a PayPal account or be verified on PayPal in order to get paid on Upwork. There are different options available for withdrawing funds depending on your location, but you can learn more here.
