Hi!

I am new to Upwork and I am currently working with my first client. I am drawing some pictures for him and I was wondering if it was a good idea to send him the pictures to see if he wanted me to change anything, or should I just do all of them and then click the submit and request button.

Thanks.

Hi Rajhean,

Congrats on your first job on Upwork!

Since you are new to Upwork, so I would suggest you to click the "Submit work/Request payment" button after submitting your work. The client will still be able to ask you for changes with "request change" button if needed. So no worries.

Best of luck!

Thanks,

Samrat

Before you send the pictures to this client, make sure 3 things are done.

1. You have an active contract (the job should show/be listed in the My Jobs section

2. The clients account is verified

3. The client has FULLY funded escrow for the amount of this job.

If they did not do all 3, do NOT click the submit and request payment button.

Hi Kathy!

I checked all those boxes before starting.

That's great, Rajhean! I'm really glad that you took the time to understand the process before starting (genuine, not sarcastic).

I agree with Samrat. It's always best to submit work using the submit and request payment button. The client has the opportunity to request changes if they need to.
