Upwork Exchange Rate Incorrect

Hello I try to test Get Paid via local bank transfer(TRY) and it's successfully to get my bank account but Exchange Rate in Upwrok USD/TRY is incorrect as you can see in image. I will also try Wire Transfer for make some profit but I think I can't make it because I read about upwork charge me 30$ for Wire Transfer and also already charge me -130$ for my first earning what kind of joke is that ?

Hi Arda,

Difference in exchange rates is not something Upwork can control. When a bank converts a transaction, they will mark up the interbank rate to buy or sell a currency. Online calculators will not take into consideration the mark up that is applied. Since rates constantly change throughout any given day, the rate you received is the rate offered by our bank at the time your specific transaction was processed.

Regarding your earnings, I would like to clarify that on all earnings you will be charged our freelancer service fee. Once you earn more than $500 with a client, your fee will be reduced from 20% to 10%.
