Upwork Time Tracker vs Time Doctor for Fixed Price Contracts

My client requires me to use Time Doctor instead of the Upwork time tracker for fixed price contracts. I would like to check if this is allowed. I still use the upwork time tracker even for fixed price contracts to make sure I'm not in violation of any rules which might lead to my account being suspended.

Hi Joseph,

You can use the client's preferred method of tracking time, but please know that for Hourly contracts, in order to qualify for the Upwork Hourly Protection, you must log your hours with the Upwork Desktop App. The app is designed to track time for Hourly contracts and for Fixed-Price ones, you can still use it but it's optional and isn't protected under the same Hourly protection as above.
