Upwork withdrew my proposals can I challenge it

I made a mistake in one of my proposals, I am only new and was discussing method of payment with an employer that was also new, I hadn't agreed to anything, I wan't even hired by them.

Upwork notified me, I apologised for my honest mistake. I realised later that they had removed all my other proposals and this was never mentioned in the communications.

How can I get them back on? I spent some connect on those, I can't really purcahse any more at the moment as I am fully unemployed due to COVID 19.

Hi Celine,

I'm sorry to hear about the personal difficulties you're experiencing. By design, active proposals are withdrawn automatically when a hold is placed on a freelancer's account. The account hold will also prevent freelancers from withdrawing earnings, submitting proposals to new jobs, accepting direct hires, showing up in search results and in certain cases prevent freelancers from working on existing contracts. In this case, your account was put on hold and as a result, your proposals were withdrawn. The safety and well-being of the Upwork community is our number one priority but, unfortunately, we don't refund Connects for proposals withdrawn due to an account hold.

Please check this Help article to learn more about the actions that may cause a freelancer's account to be temporarily or permanently suspended from Upwork. Seeing you're new to the platform, I'd strongly suggest reviewing these resources which offer great advice and insight on how you can build a successful career on Upwork. Feel free to follow up in the Community with any questions you might have, we're here for you.
