VAT no, not recognized. Need help!

hi, upworkers

i have a small issue setting up my account.

I introduced the VAT of my company but i get the message that the format is not recognized. 

My VAT from Romania is RO34181475, this is the correct form, but still get the message its not approved. 

Do you have any ideas how to solve this?

Hi Alex,

If the tax ID that you submit isn't in the format provided by VIES, Upwork won't be able to validate it. You can check if your VAT number will be validated on the VIES website here. For more information, please check this help article. Thank you!

but upwork still doesnt recognize it.
