Verification with drivers permit

I need to verify my location but my valid id is a drivers permit rather than a drivers license. Is this still valid?

ID should be a  CURRENT, Valid govt issued photo ID. This ID must include your picture, signature, name, date of birth, and address, with the exception of passports, which don't need your address.
