W-9 Questions

Hi!

I’m new to upwork and freelancing and need to fill out my W-9. I do not have a business as a freelancer- so all would go under my personal taxes.

What would be my federal Tax classification if I am not using the W-9 under a business (individual/sole proprietor or single-member LLC, or other?)

If you haven't done the paperwork to form an LLC or other formal structure, you'd list yourself as an individual/sole proprietor.

What if im working here in the Philippines and at the same time as free lancer at upwork.. what would be my federal tax classification? is it individual or corporation or partnership?
