Waste of time

I’m honestly so done with Upwork and I’ve only been using it for a week.

I hate that this is the only way to get in contact with customer service.

This has become a total waste of time and honestly embarrassing on Upwork’s part. I’ve applied to 7 jobs. I am don’t stupid, none of them seemed like immediate red flags and most appeared on the recommended first page.

Unfortunately, almost every single one has been fraudulent or been removed. You would think that for all the money that Upwork takes and for all the connects they sell they would at least put SOME effort in to preventing EVERY SINGLE JOB from being illegitimate. I just want to find at least one job on here that isn’t a total scam. Such a waste of time and effort.

Chelsea, Upwork closes scam jobs and returns connects, IF freelancers flag the jobs for a valid reason. So if you wait a while, chances are you’ll be refunded some connects.
