Hi everyone, I just got my first client here on Upwork. He hired me with a 10-hour per week limit. I finished the first task they gave me in just 4 hours. I feel like I'm being punished because of my efficiency. What should I do?

Having a limit of 10 hours does not mean that you need to use all 10 hours to complete the work. Charge an hourly rate that you feel is fair for your labor, then do your work honestly within that actual time frame. In this case, it was four hours. Your client will probably give you more work as a result of your efficiency. If you want to earn more than $5 an hour, then update your profile rate to reflect that.

Nothing. The weekly limit is exactly that - a limit. If you completed your tasks in 4 hours, it is only fair you are getting paid for 4 hours, nothing more, nothing less.
