Hi, Is there an email that is received once the application to join is approved? And does the email have pertinent information? I seem to be able to access more tabs in my account but I have not received an email stating whether I've officially been accepted or not. Even though I've read through many of the tabs and watched the introductory videos I'm still not sure how everything works. What should new members make sure and look at first? Also, how do you contact staff at Upwork? I need to talk to someone about my contact information. All contact tabs seem to lead back to here which is the public forum.

Yes. Is the address listed acceptable? Is the phone number a number that needs to be able to have capability of receiving future texts or was that just for the verification code? I would be happy to discuss it further and offer explanations privately.

Well, I don't feel comfortable giving personal information publicly so I will presume you've looked at my profile and everything is ok. As I stated I need to give an explanation and discuss it further if the need is warranted. I just don't want to have my account suspended for something that I can give an explanation for. Thank you both for looking into it and answering my questions!

Please note that publishing private information in the community is a violation on our Community Guidelines. When our team is handling private details we are always creating a ticket where you can post and upload your private information via a secure channel.
If we do need you to verify yourself our team will send you a ticket with detail explanation on how to finish it.

Ah ok. Then I'm safe to assume that if I don't receive an email then everything is good to go.
