I'm sorry for the delay as I may have missed updating this thread. The beta version normally contains features and updates that haven't been released on the standard desktop app yet. However, since all recent releases were rolled out, at this time both apps are the same version.

It has entered common usage, especially among frequent computer users. "Beta version" is often applied as a slang term to refer to any product or service that seems unready for mainstream release, especially as criticism for something sold commercially. The beta version of a software release is considered to be a preview.
Whether you go for the standard version or beta version both have the same functionality to use. If you don't want glitches and updates you may go for the standard version according to your laptop and desktop version.
Follow the instruction to check your PC or desktop version -
Search Control Panel in your search bar >> Find Control Panel >> Find System >> Find About option (If automatically open the option then skip this step) >> Find System type
