What does the as needed- open to offers option on upwork mean?

I would like to know what the as needed- open to offers option does.

It's a way to communicate your avaliabilty to prospective clients.

There are 3 settings:

1) Less than 30 hours

2) More than 30 hours

3) As Needed..

The last setting, as needed, merely communicates your time to work on projects is flexible and depends on the project.
