What happens if I click on "Get Paid Now"?

Hi! I'm new to Upwork so I'm not quite familiar with some of the features. What happens if I click on "Get Paid Now"? Is this the same as making a withdrawal? Your help is much appreciated!

Hi Fatihah,

Yes that is correct. If you have available earnings on your profile they will be withdrawn to your payment method once you've clicked the "Get Paid" button. Thank you.

Thanks for the reply Goran! Does that mean I will be charged? Since I set my preferred payment method direct to local bank. I also set my withdrawal fee to $100, so does this mean withdrawals are only allowed when I reached a $100 balance?

Hi Fatihah,

The threshold you're referring to, is for your automated payment schedule. This means that once your earnings are above $100 they will be automatically withdrawn to your preferred payment method.
However, you can manually withdraw your funds at any time simply by clicking the Get paid button. Thank you.
