What to put in my profile for small projects?

Hello!

I am a stay at home mom, but I am excited to have found Upwork. I have been looking for jobs for about 6-8 weeks. I did outside sales for 16 years with a large corporation, but decided to stay home when I had child #3. I am looking for easy short projects to earn a couple of bucks. Since I have a toddler I really can't do cold calling or anything too intense. I have picked up 2  jobs, but apply everyday for several jobs and get turned down. I am frustrated and not sure what I can do to pick up more jobs and get a rating so I may be more apppealing to clients. Should I pay for the upgrade? Any words of wisdom from other SAHM who have gone through this?

I'd love to get easy small projects too. Wouldn't it be so nice if it were that easy.

Hi Jennifer,
You don't need to pay anything for the upgrade. Apply on the jobs in which you think you have great skills. Find those clients, who have nice reviews and a nice hire rate.
