When do I get payed?

Hi! I just got my first contract, a fixed-price job. And I finished the contract almost a week ago and I am just wondering when should I receive the money? I associated my bank account and everything, but I am not so sure if I made everything that needed to be done and correctly. The client didn't write me a review either and I did. Should I wait a few days more or should I het alarmed?

You should not be alarmed.

You just need to learn about how the process works.

If money has already been released to you, then you need to wait for thr five day security period to end before the money can be withdrawn.

When you go the reports page, what "box" is the money currently in?

They are in the AVAILABLE box and it says that they will be sent on the
28th of October. And if I click on the GET PAID NOW button it doesn't do
anything. I must have set up to get the payment at the end of the month or
something, right? But can't I do anything to get them earlier?

Hi Sonia,

I checked your account and it looks like you'll need to fill your W-8BEN Form in order to be able to withdraw your earnings. You can find instructions on how to do this here. 

Also, please note you can manage your Automatic Payment Schedule to withdraw automatically when your balance exceeds a lower limit if you prefer. But of course, you can always use the Get Paid Now button as well.
