When does the 12-month earnings period start?

Hello, I hope you are doing well.

It is my 2nd month here, and I am working my way toward the Job Success Score and Top Rated badge. However, when I read my certificate of earnings, it had September 2019 as my first month.

I didn't even have a profile back then but just signed up.

Does Upwork consider the signup month as the 1st month of earnings?

I don`t understand. You signed up just now but your profile is from last year?

Hello, Martina and Bojan, thank you for your response.

I signed up in September 2019 but created my profile and got approved in May this year.

When I checked my certificate of earnings, this is what it says:

"Active on Upwork Since Sep 26, 2019"

My question is, would Upwork consider the sign-up month (September 2019 in my case) as the first month of earnings or May 2020 when I created my profile and started working?

Hi Rachel,

The Certificate of Earnings that will always have the information for the last 12 months and will show the date you signed up for your Upwork account.

Hi Rachel,

The Certificate of Earnings that will always have the information for the past one, three, six, and 12 months based on the date selected. You can also go to Reports > Transaction History and adjust the timeline to view all of your transactions in the selected period and download the payment information there.
