I would really like it if upwork stressed the importance of clients identifying the range of their industry. Is it health? scientific? writing about the circus (ok... but you know what I mean). I read a lot of listings that sound promising but without a focal point, I won't apply. I mean, I know nothing about coding, for example, and would never apply for a job that specifically spelled that out.
The "hi we want a bang-up writer for our blogs" isn't enough. Vague posting here is a waste of many people's time and energy. I realize there is only so much UpWork can do but yeah... that's my issue right now.
