Why am I not getting any jobs? What can I do to make clients consider hiring me?

I have been a member of Upwork for approximately 3 months now. Have been sending proposals left and right (for jobs I'm sure I'll do well, and not just anything), and was put in the 'rising talent' program.

If it weren't for the program, I'd still be thinking that my proposals don't even reach the potential clients in the first place.

What can I make better to get jobs? Is my profile lacking in some aspects?
