Why are unavailable freelancers still shown in search?

I have several times now searched for freelancers, found a promising candidate, but when I try "Invite to Job" a message appears saying "sorry, but they are no longer available. Try again".

This seems odd - why are they listed in the database if they are not available?

And if they are not available, why would clicking again help?

Might be a bug?

Do you still have links to some of the profiles that gave you that error? If so, could you please click on my my name and send them to me in a private message?

I clicked on your name, then on the "Message" button, but I got a red warning message saying

"You do not have sufficient privileges for this resource or its parent to perform this action.

Click your browser's Back button to continue."

Probably need to fix that first 🙂
