Why does Upwork show works for which performers are already hired?

Hello! I noticed that there were projects in the search results already with hired performers. Why does Upwork show these orders? Can it be filtered out?

Clients sometimes keep their job posts open as they may need to hire more than one freelancer. It is up to you if you submit a proposal for the job or not. You may want to read this help article to learn more about how you can search for jobs.
