Will I be notified when a client reviews my proposal?

Are clients required to accept or decline proposals? Are they allowed to leave your proposal in limbo? How do I know if a client has viewed my proposal?

Camille:

None of this matters.

Here is what we do:

We submit a proposal. And then we forget about it.

That's it. It's over.

We work on our other projects. We look for other jobs and submit other proposals.

We don't think about the proposals we have submitted. We don't check back on them. We don't monitor them or wonder about them.

Until...

A client contacts us and asks to interview us for the job, or offers to hire us.

THAT is when we know that a client has reviewed our proposal. And more importantly, that is when we know that a clients wants to talk to us about working on the project.
