Will lose my connect on plan downgrad

Hello Upwork Folks

I am new to upwork and recently bought upwork plus plan but now looking for downgrad my current plan to Basic plan. 
as a part of plus account, I got 70 connects and still have all these connects . 
My question is will I lose current connects that I got with plus membership on downgrading my plan?

I got this in my email regarding plan downgrade saying: 

Here are a few of the changes you'll see:
•	Connects are no longer included as part of your plan
•	Purchase Connects as you need them
