Withdrawn: Job application is cancelled by Upwork

I am curious why my recent proposals are showing "Withdrawn: Job application is cancelled by Upwork."

Sad part is, Upwork didn't give back the connects I used for those proposals. I wish I can get them back so I can use them to apply to new projects.

Thank you for your message. I am sorry to hear about your canceled proposals. I see that your proposals were canceled as your account was recently placed on hold for non-adherence to our verification request. That said, your Connects for canceled proposals cannot be refunded.
