Would a unpaid contract when ends affect the job success score?

There is an issue I'm struggling to resolve with no harm to any party. 

On October 10, I started a contract with a client and tried my very best to get the expected results but it went all in vain as the client's site is messing the whole thing up again once corrected and the client doesn't want me to touch any other area of the website except I was permitted to a specific one. 

Cutting the long story short, I want to end the contract with the client. Will it affect my job success score?
I would like to mention here that this contract is unpaid and the payment from the client is in Escrow under Upwork protection. 

If we (I and my client) mutually decide to end the contract with no public or private poor feedback from the client, would it still have an effect on the job score?

I want authentic responses from senior or junior experienced community members on this and their responses would be of high value to me and be appreciated.
