Writing proposals.

I do have two questions with regards to writing proposals. First, in an effort to sound human and sociable instead of forced and robotic in our proposals to clients, is it okay to use emojis? I oftentimes feel using emojis makes you look playful and less professional. If we're allowed to use emojis in our proposals, then are there restrictions to emojis we use or can we use any emoji as we see fit?

My second question is, what is the most straightforward and precise way to answer the question: "Describe your recent experience with similar projects" without being too wordy or being too personal? A quick 'nail-to-the-head' approach will suffice.

Thanks.

Ps: Fellow freelancers are encouraged to comment their issues with writing effective and winning proposals on this thread. I believe the community gurus and moderators will help us out.

for the first part, theres a time and place to use emojis. All depends on how you use them and apply them.
