active milestone to Awaiting milestone

Hi,

I'm at the brand new freelancer Upwork. I got a milestone project. I also have regular conversations with the clients. He likes a sample from some of the samples that I sent in the message. Now I go to submit the files of his favorite design and see that there is no "submit work for payment" option.
The job turns active milestone to Awaiting milestone. I don't understand why this is so.

Hi Pujan,

You can't submit work for payment without an active milestone or if a contract was closed which is what happened. Please discuss further with your client as they can easily rehire you or pay a bonus.
