i am both a client and freelancer.

I have a agreed a job as a freelancer and the client has agreed to make payment in advance. My client is also new to Upwork. How do i advise the client on how to arrange to pay me in advance ?

If it's a flat rate job, the client has to fund a milestone. Once the milestone is funded, it can be released at any time. Though usually the work is done first, and then you get paid. But as long as the client is comfortable doing so, they can pay you in advance of any work. Otherwise, if it's an hourly job, they would have to pay you by using the bonus function.
