I applied for a job and in return the reply I got ... I as asked to contact them outside of upwork to hire, what do I do ?

Don't contact them ouside Upwork its against Upwork rules and you will get your account suspended. The people who want to take you outside upwork are Scammers and you end up not getting paid. You can just flag their message.
