confusion related fixed price and hourly pricing on freelance marketplace

Hi Everyone.

i would like to ask related fixed price projects and hourly based.

i looked project on freelancing marketplaces there is mentioned 2 things fixed and hourly.

i understand fixed price but have one confusion related hourly base. how can i decide hourly rate and how can i provide hourly working proof to employer.?

You discuss with the client which method makes most sense for the project, and if it's hourly, you use the upwork time tracker which takes random screenshots of your activity to document what you are working on.
