contract in place

How to know if i have contract in place already?

Shall I get a contract first before starting a job?

How can I identify the contract or how does it looks like?

 1) Go to your My Jobs Page - if there is no contract there, you don't have one or you haven't accepted an offer yet.

2) NEVER start working until you have been hired on Upwork, have accepted the offer and checked if it is funded (if fixed rate).

3) You see a message that you have a new offer on your Proposals Page. You receive an offer email from Upwork, too.
