what is difference between exclusive and non exclusive?

In what context?
For Upwork, it means that if you find a client through Upwork, you can ONLY work with them through the platform for a period of two years.
For some clients, exclusive means they want you working for them and nobody else for the duration of the contract.
And for others, it means the work you provide can only be used by them.
So it all depends on the context where you're looking to define the term.

Hi Muhammad,
Are you referring to being an agency freelancer? Exclusive agency freelancers are only able to work on agency contracts, and bid for projects as an agency freelancer.
Non-exclusive agency freelancers are able to send proposals either as sole freelancer, or as an agency freelancer.

Once you become Exclusive agency freelancer, then worked for the years within agancy and upgraded your profile and then decided to leave Agency and keep profile for yourself. Can you do it without approval from acency management? And will all history of the profile will become your personal profile history?

Hi Aleksandr,
You can leave an agency at any time. In addition, you will keep your work history with this agency in your individual freelancer profile.

Can an exclusive agency member leave the agency and open up contracts with previously exclusive agency clients, without the agency approving it? Would this be considered an ethical violation?
