filling out your application

I have tried for days now to fill out a application & your system will not except anything I put in the SKILLS window, no matter what it is.  I am a freelancer and I want to put in for data entry to start with, once I see how this all works I may put in for more areas. I will be looking forward to hearing from someone soon.
