why i cant get my first job in upwork please give some honest feedback about my profile?

Hi Majida,

Don't lose hope, It's all about luck to get not only your first job but also every job!

You have a good profile, but I found a lack portfolio of works, maybe its better to add more previous works into your profile, if you don't have, do some custom projects by getting Ideas from any creative platforms like Behance and show the clients that you can do that kind of jobs.

I have been here for months on this platform, and yet I got only 3 jobs, sending many proposals every day, and none of them contracted.  but I'm still trying.

Hi Nayan,

Things to keep in mind:

- Clients love freelancers who genuinely help them

- Always give clients ideas, feedback, and game plan

- Write to clients as if they're your friends

Write Better Proposals

- Send samples that match their job requirement

- Instead of copy-pasting proposals, appreciate client's project/business

- Make your proposals "personal"

- Eg1. For design audits, I send 5 free pointers in the proposal - which proves to client that I'm genuinely "interested" in his project

- Eg2. I also use "Design Secrets" pdf - "trade secrets" which proves that I will be their best choice

- Try your best to "add value" to their business

- Always send proposals on jobs within 1 hour of posting
