By sending proposals to jobs you are positive you can do better than others.

Being patient helps.
Being persistent helps.

Being passive leads to no work.
Sending proposals to any job you are kinda good at, doesn't help.

Not lying about your skills is a good start....

Your profile shows no proof you are a mobile app and presentation designer.  Your real-life job says something else.  

Show proof with your skills and portfolio items.  Why you would be worth $30?

Be honest and maybe you'll get a job here one day.

You've been here for years and have built quite the portfolio.  Design is so competitive, but presentation design is a great niche.  I see many jobs in this area.  Try reaching back out to previous clients who have been happy with your work.  Consider doing this every few months.  You'll avoid wasting connects.

However, I can't practice such strategy. I believe if client needs me s/he will reach for me.
