Hello, I signed up for Upwork recently, and am getting ready to start submitting proposals for jobs (I’m an editor/proofreader). I’m wondering what sort of computer/software most Upwork freelance editors/proofreaders/writers use? I’m on an iPad Pro, and I use Pages for my own writing. Do most clients assume a freelancer is using a regular (laptop or desktop) computer? And is Microsoft Word the software of choice? I just don’t want to submit proposals, be lucky enough to land a job, and then realize that an iPad with Pages is going to present problems. Will I need to switch over to a MacBook with MS Word instead? Any advice is much appreciated! Thanks so much!
