Has her identity been verified by Upwork? Do you feel this is someone using someone else's account on Upwork? Do you want to hire her because in her communications with you, she sounds like she will be able to perform the work you need her to?

I'm not a client here, but I wouldn't add someone to my "team" if I thought they were lying to me about their identity, and it sounds like that might be the case here. I would recommend communicating more with her here, through Upwork. Ask questions to make sure she has the knowledge she will need to join your team and complete your work for you. It will be worth it to spend a little time before hiring to make sure the person will be able to do what you're paying them for. Good luck.
