project is done but cannot leave review on client

Hi!

I had 2 projects with the same client (yesterday and today). They are done and the client was happy.

It was paid by milestones, however, when I go into my contracts, I cannot leave a positive review on the client. 

Here is the message I am getting. How come?

When will I be able to leave one?

May I ask the client to leave me a review?

Hi Marianne,

Looks like the contract you're referring to is still active. You may look into asking your client to close the contract that doesn’t need any work done on it anymore. We recommend the freelancer to let the client close the contract because in this case the client will be prompted to provide feedback for sure. The person who closes the contract will be prompted to leave feedback on the contract right away. However, the other party will also be notified and asked to provide their feedback.
