I'm trying to complete my profile but am met with a message that says "This number is being used by another account" when I attempt to enter my phone number. I don't recall making any previous accounts with Upwork using that phone number, and if I did my apologies for the hassle, but I could use a hand getting this to accept my phone number.

I can see that you're experiencing this issue for quite a while now. You also reached out to us a few days back with the same concern and support tickets have been created here. One of the team members has reached out with assistance on how to proceed with the issue via email here. You can still update the ticket and communicate with the team by responding to the email associated with it.

I'm getting this same issue as well. Thought I might have tried signing up with a different email before, but any of those possible emails are not tied to an account when I try to log in with them, so I'm not sure why my phone number would be tied to another account at this point.

I'm having this same problem. When setting up my profile it keeps saying that my phone number is associated with another account. I don't recall having another account and if I did at one point then it was a mistake. I just want to finish setting up my account already, please fix this problem!
