I was filling out the tax section of my account and I noticed that if you select that you are a US person, you can only fill out company details for a US company.
I'm a US citizen (I have a passport), but I have lived in the UK for the last 7 years. I have never had to pay US income tax because I am outside of the US for at least 330 days each year. I have my own limitied company here in the UK, and those are the details I would be using on UpWork.
I just want to check it's okay to put myself down as a non-US person, as I will be providing my UK company details and will not be paying US income tax?
