It depends on what you mean, exactly.

There ARE ways to team up that are allowed. And there are ways to team up that will get you permanently kicked off the platform if you are caught doing it.

For example:

If you share your Upwork login credentials with anybody, or let anybody else log time with your account, then you are violating one of Upwork's most sacred rules and your account is likely to be terminatd if caught.

Independent contractors are identified as Individuals who will work solely on a job/contract. Only Agency members/accounts can work as groups.
